250th Anniversary of the United States

This year is the 250th Anniversary of the United States, meaning the signing of the Declaration of Independence!!!

A very impressive 4th of July Parade was held in the village.  The rain made an early appearance, but stopped to allow the parade to be held and enjoyed.

There was a very impressive program conducted at Centennial Park after the parade, consisting of a Re-enactment of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Oldies but Goodies

New display just put out of Old School Uniforms and old maps used (I believe) at the Acadamy.

We are pleased to say we have an update group of Historical Artifacts out for your viewing pleasure.  We are here during normal Town Clerk Hours (Tues 9-12, Thur 1-4, Sat 9-12).

We continue to have a magazine rack with a lot of yearbooks as well as a box of yearbooks that you can look thru. The rack has some other interesting books about the Town. There is also a table that is made from a section of the floor from the old Upton Castle.

We encourage you to please come to the Town Hall and have a look.
